A QR customer usually decides within seconds on a single phone. If color and logo are wrong, the flow feels foreign and the brand inconsistent. Correct setup does the opposite.
Brand consistency is a trust signal: customers immediately recognize the same business across touchpoints, and the threshold for filling the form drops.
Primary color
The primary color appears on the rating screen and in menu hero areas. Very pale colors do not contrast well against white backgrounds. Aim for a 4.5:1 contrast ratio for WCAG AA.
Logo format
- Prefer transparent background (PNG or WebP).
- Square or horizontal both supported; square reads better on the rating screen.
- Up to 1MB and 1024px on the longest edge is enough.
- Thin strokes or fonts should still be legible when scaled down.

Use the same color and logo across the restaurant record, the menu, email notifications and the QR page. Customers immediately recognize the brand across touchpoints.
