A Google link is not a single thing. Maps link, Place ID and direct write-review URLs behave differently. Picking the right one ensures the customer actually lands on a review form.
The best link is not the one with fewest taps; it is the one aligned with customer intent. Short does not always mean right.
Three formats
- Place ID: Buaze builds the write-review URL automatically.
- Maps link: lands the customer on the profile; they choose to review.
- Direct write-review URL: opens the review composer immediately.
- Maps mobile deep link: opens the Google Maps app instead of web.
- Shortened link: can break over time; avoid.
Which when?
To minimize taps before review, prefer Place ID or the direct write-review URL. To show the profile and photos first, the Maps link is appropriate. The “shortest path” works for most operators.
Mobile behavior
On mobile devices with Google Maps installed, the link can deep-link into the app. This is expected and generally increases scan-to-review conversion. Test on a device with and without the app to be safe.
Kontrol listesi / Checklist
- Format chosen deliberately.
- Mobile and desktop tested.
- One profile, one link.
- Old shortened links removed.
- Each branch configured separately.
SSS / FAQ
I do not have a Google profile yet.
Create and verify a Google Business Profile first. Without a verified profile, the redirect cannot work.
What if the profile is suspended?
The customer sees an error page. Disable the link in Buaze until the profile is restored.
