Handle Tripadvisor, Foursquare and other profiles

How to bring profiles outside Buaze’s first-class platform list into your redirect flow.

Updated:

Buaze ships first-class platform redirects for Google, Yemeksepeti, Getir and Trendyol GO. For Tripadvisor, Foursquare or a niche reservation platform, a side-channel approach works well.

Side channels are nice, but not every profile is active. Without volume, strengthening the main profile beats spreading the customer thin.

What is a side channel?

A side channel is an extra profile link offered after a high rating. Since it is not a built-in platform parameter, you set it up via a link card on the screen. Flow: stars → main platform redirect or thank-you → a follow-up like “Would you also share on Tripadvisor?”

Volume and quality

  • Tripadvisor matters most in tourist-heavy locations.
  • Foursquare is meaningful where a niche audience uses it.
  • Social profiles bring follows, not reviews.
  • Maps summaries already aggregate via your Google profile.
  • Improve the main profile before adding empty side channels.

Decision matrix

If a profile receives fewer than 5 reviews per month, it is more efficient to focus the main profile. Beyond 20+, side-channel investment pays back.

Kontrol listesi / Checklist

  • Active profiles are listed.
  • Monthly review volume is measured.
  • Side channels point to meaningful profiles only.
  • The flow stays simple for the customer.
  • Profile links work on mobile and desktop.

SSS / FAQ

Will Tripadvisor become a first-class integration?

It is on the table when demand consolidates. The side-channel approach is enough for most operators today.

Is it a problem if a review goes to two platforms?

No, but do not push the customer to write twice. A short prompt is enough.
